Guests confirmed for Urban Islands 2011
Tuesday, 29th March 2011Urban Islands has confirmed the guests for the 2011 program: Nat Chard (Canada), Nataly Gattegno (Greece + USA) and Victor Marquez (Mexico).
Nat, whose work has been exhibited and published internationally, is a professor at the University of Manitoba after extended periods at the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen and the Bartlett in London.
Nataly is a founding design partner of Future Cities Lab, an interdisciplinary design and research collaborative; she is also a member of the architecture faculty at the California College of the Arts, San Francisco and the University of California, Berkeley.
Victor leads his own award winning firm, VMA, with a broad range of completed and planned projects. He lectures at institutions worldwide, and is completing books on the politics of congestion and the history of DJ’s.
